Posters of Santa Fe is part of a family-owned and operated business with over 140 years' experience in the art world. In 1860 Ambrose Munson founded the Munson Gallery in New Haven, CT. Since then, fine art, art prints, custom picture framing, and museum quality restoration have been part of every generation. In 1979 the Munson family moved the gallery to Santa Fe. To fill the need for affordable reproductions of famous paintings by southwestern artists, descendant Larom Munson and his daughter, Sally, founded Posters of Santa Fe (POSF) in 1985, and located it among the galleries on Canyon Road. We have been selling posters online since 1995. Our current retail location at 111 East Palace Avenue in Santa Fe opened in 1989. In addition to the best selection of Southwest art posters, our retail store offers custom picture framing and regionally-themed gifts, books, music, cards, jewelry, and stationery.

Michael Munson, the present owner of POSF, established a sister company, Munson Graphics, in 1996. Munson Graphics is a fine art publisher of posters, prints, and stationery products. It designs, produces and distributes licensed art products for major national art museums, performing arts groups, art galleries and picture framers.
